Wondering where to celebrate Bonfire Night this year? Here are the best fireworks displays taking place across London, featuring show-stopping pyrotechnics and sizzling bonfires alongside funfair rides and street food. Sparklers at the ready…

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

Every year, tens of thousands of revellers descend on the grounds of Ally Pally for their iconic fireworks display, which dates back over 140 years. It’s the biggest fireworks festival in London, this year complete with a music playlist curated by Bestival founder Rob da Bank, ice-skating and film screenings at The Luna Cinema. Visitors can also get merry at the German-style beer tent, and feast on food from one of the many street food stalls.

When? The festival runs from 1-2 November, with fireworks displays taking place on Friday at 9pm and Saturday at 8pm.

Victoria Park

East London’s biggest fireworks display takes place in Victoria Park, this year themed around the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Alongside the fireworks, enjoy music, spoken word and storytelling, alongside a stellar food line-up. It’s also one of the only London displays that won’t cost you a penny.

When? 3 November, fireworks display takes place at 7pm

Battersea Park

The award-winning annual fireworks display at Battersea Park never fails to disappoint, with 50,000 visitors expected to attend this year. Arrive from 6pm to enjoy pre-show entertainment, food and drink before the 7.30pm bonfire, with the fireworks display beginning at 8pm. Keen to continue the fun? New for 2019 is an exclusive after party popping off at events space Battersea Evolution, available exclusively to ticket holders.

When? 2 November. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks display takes place at 8pm.

Bonfire Night Fireworks

Richmond Park

The Richmond Park fireworks display is ideal for families, this year choreographed to iconic noughties tunes. From 4.30pm visitors can enjoy funfair rides, with plenty of food and drink available – from burgers to crepes to mulled wine. 

When? 3 November, fireworks display takes place at 7pm.

Morden Park

Little ones will love Morden Park’s Bonfire Night offering, which includes a fireworks show themed around The Greatest Showman. This will be followed by a second show later on, this one celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Fire and light show performers Flame Oz and Halo will be performing a new warm up act ahead of the main displays, and throughout the evening guests can enjoy food from stalls including The Dough Shack, Cross Town Doughnuts and Quack ‘N’ Mac.

When? 2 November, first fireworks display takes place at 6.45pm followed by a second at 8.30pm.

Blackheath

One of the city’s few free displays, Blackheath remains a popular choice, with over 100,000 visitors attending each year. Alongside the fireworks, this year’s event includes a funfair from 12 noon and a range of food and drink stalls.

When? 2 November, fireworks display takes place at 8pm.

Ravenscourt Park

The Bishop’s Park display is not taking place this year, meaning all eyes and ears will be on the park in Hammersmith. A children’s firework display takes place at 6.30pm, followed by the main display at 8.30pm, with a whole host of food stalls and bars and a funfair to enjoy throughout.

When? 2 November, children’s fireworks display takes place at 6.30pm followed by the main display at 8.30pm.
