The Cocktail Village

The epicentre of London Cocktail Week, the Cocktail Village features over 40 different bars – all serving signature £6 cocktails! – at Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery. This year’s include a recreation of buzzy Japanese street bars by the House of Suntory, Bourbon & Bites courtesy of Maker’s Mark and Crosstown Doughnuts, and Fentiman’s Rum Bar, with tropical Islington favourite, Laki Kane. Those commendably observing Sober October needn’t feel left out: a non-alcoholic bar is whipping up No-Gronis with all the deliciously bitter flavour of the classic, minus the headache. Cocktails and Oysters at Wright Brothers

Who says oysters only go well with champagne? To celebrate 10 years of London Cocktail Week, Wright Brothers have created a new cocktail – aptly named Ten to the Dozen – available at all locations for only £6. A fresh blend of Bombay Sapphire gin, bitter bianco, elderflower cordial, grapefruit and lemon juice, it pairs beautifully with the restaurant’s signature seafood and oysters. Fans of the classics can head over to Wright Bros. Spitalfields to celebrate in style, with a martini and oyster platter for a mere £20. Le Syndicat residency at Sanderson

Iconic Parisian cocktail bar Le Syndicat – one of the world’s 50 best bars – is serving up innovative, beautiful creations in a six-day residency at the Sanderson hotel’s Long Bar. LCW Pop-Up at Covent Garden

In an exciting addition to Covent Garden’s buzzy bar scene, this week-long pop up is offering visitors daily tastings and cocktail-based activities, including an Espresso Martini masterclass with Ketel One vodka. Intrepid gin lovers looking to expand their palate can trace the ancient spice route through this gin masterclass, which brings together hand-picked botanicals from Asia, Europe and the Middle East in a sensory experience.
