The V&A has reopened its doors to the public with a sensational line-up of exhibitions. Visitors are now able to explore the ground and second floors, as well as the Europe 1600-1815 galleries in what is a phased reopening – note: free timed entry tickets must be booked – whilst the highly-anticipated Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk retrospective has also recommenced. Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk

An entire exhibition dedicated to the kimono? We’re officially intrigued. From 17th century Japanese garments, to original Star Wars costumes and designs from the likes of Yves Saint Laurent and John Galliano, explore the fascinating evolution of the Kimono and its progressional role within the world of haute couture. Catch it now until 25 October 2020.
