What’s better than brunch? A boozy brunch of course! From Peruvian-style parties to all-you-can-eat sushi, these are the best bottomless brunches in London, all featuring the winning combination of free-flowing bubbles and delicious food. Just don’t blame us for the hangover…
Chotto Matte
The new brunch offering from Soho’s Chotto Matte transports diners to the Harajuku district of Tokyo: a world of big urban beats, colour and all things Kawaii. Nikkei-inspired dishes bring the energy of Japanese youth culture to a sophisticated London clientele, from sushi doughnuts to vegetarian tacos to the central masterpiece, Japanese Pancake Soufflé: stacked fluffy pancakes layered with Yuzu cheesecake mousse, drizzled in blackcurrant compote and hot white chocolate sauce. Frozen Yuzu Margaritas are the drink of choice, though the bottomless offering also includes gin cocktails served in teapots, Bloody Marys, wine and beer, with DJs keeping the party alive from 12-3pm. Available on Saturdays. £49pp.
Pergola Paddington
Pergola Paddington is one of London’s buzziest hangouts – even more so now they’ve launched a bottomless brunch. It’s important to pace yourself for this one, as the unlimited drinks offering (bubbles, Bloody Marys and Aperol Spritz) lasts for a whole three hours. We’d advise carb loading: resident traders offer £5 brunch specials, including loaded halloumi fries from Babek Brothers, bao buns and curly fries from An Choi, and an aubergine katsu rice bowl from Temaki Brothers. And who says you can’t have all three? £30pp for bottomless drinks for three hours. Brunch specials £5 a dish.
Bōkan 37
Bōkan 37 is far more swanky than its exterior suggests. To get there you have to weave through the not-so-glamorous industrial landscape of Canary Wharf until you reach The Novotel, head through an unassuming door and into a small lift which whisks you up to the 37th floor. As soon as you step out, however, you’ll see the magic. There are many sky-high restaurants in London, but the vantage point from here is quite different to the city centre spots, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering jaw-dropping 360 panoramas. Their bottomless brunch is less eggs and pancakes and more grilled meats, fish and vegetables cooked to perfection. Enjoy 1.5 hours of free-flowing prosecco alongside three courses of food to balance things out. The risotto served with confit heritage aubergine and roasted figs is particularly good – and be sure to save some space for pudding, because the brownie is heavenly. After your time is up, head upstairs to the rooftop bar, marvel at the views and try one of their delicious cocktails…if you’re still standing! £37 for three courses, an extra £15 for bottomless prosecco.
Daisy Green
As bottomless brunches go, Daisy Green’s is a rather classy affair. The Australian-inspired restaurant group has multiple branches across London, including a new opening in Mayfair, Ziggy Green – all with pretty interiors and beautifully-presented food. Bottomless brunches are available at select locations, including the original in Marylebone (Daisy Green), Beany Green in Little Venice and Scarlett Green in Soho. Booze offerings stretch further than just prosecco here – you also get unlimited mimosas, coffee and smoothies. They’re generous on the food too: the all-inclusive £39.50 bottomless brunch deal includes one cold and one hot dish, and portions are big. From the cold section, go for their famous banana bread sandwich, served with mascarpone and fresh berries. Hot highlights include The Bondi, a healthy version of the Full English, and their broccoli and corn fritters, served with avocado and chilli pesto. You can book for up to 24 people, so it’s ideal for big celebrations with the gang. £39.50pp including bottomless drinks for two hours and two dishes.
Megan’s
Over the past couple of years Megan’s has established itself as the spot for bottomless brunch in the south west. It has expanded from having just one London location to five, with their signature flower-adorned ceilings popping up in trendy areas like Balham and Clapham – with another soon to open in Wimbledon. All branches offer bottomless brunch, with a choice of unlimited prosecco, Pimm’s or Bloody Mary’s. Get merry as you tuck into dishes like the veggie brunch: egg, halloumi, smashed avocado, shakshouka and toast, or the baked courgette and feta rosti. If all that fizz has increased your appetite, don’t shy away from ordering a brunch pudding – the half baked cookie dough with Nutella, pistachios and ice cream is the stuff of dreams. Available Saturdays and Sundays, £18pp for 90 minutes of unlimited drinks when ordering a main meal.
Pachamama
Brighten up your morning with a truly winning combination: waffles and prosecco. Peruvian restaurant Pachamama’s brunch tasting menu includes free-flowing bubbles for two hours alongside a mix of canapés followed by one sweet and one savoury waffle, designed for two people sharing. On the sweet side of things, waffles can be topped with delightful combinations like peanut butter, grilled plantain and coconut; or chocolate with toasted quinoa ice cream and cacao crumb. For savoury, toppings include Peruvian fried chicken, and beetroot cured smoked salmon with avocado and poached egg. £25pp for the brunch tasting menu plus £20pp for unlimited prosecco for two hours.
Bourne & Hollingsworth
A bright and airy dining room tucked away in Clerkenwell, Bourne & Hollingsworth is one of London’s prettiest brunch spots. It’s minimalist but vibrant at the same time – think whitewashed floorboards and antique furniture paired with tropical upholstery. Luckily the food is equally impressive: we recommend the gluten free pancakes, served with toasted hazelnuts and caramelised banana, or the Huevos Benedictos with chorizo, avocado, béarnaise sauce and pico de gallo if you’re after savoury. For £25 extra you can enjoy bottomless fizz, or Bloody Mary’s for slightly less. £25 for bottomless prosecco or Bloody Mary’s on top of food.
Quaglino’s
Trendy restaurants come and go, but some places are timeless. The ever-glamorous Mayfair institution Quaglino’s is one of these places. Since opening in 1953 it’s attracted high-end crowds, and was frequented by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor in the fifties. Today it remains a glitzy venue, and their Q Champagne Brunch is particularly decadent. Staying true to its name, the menu features both breakfast and lunch options. All your classic egg brunch dishes are on offer (Florentine, Royal and Benedict) alongside meals that definitely veer towards lunch territory – think truffle risotto, Jersey oysters, lobster Thermidor and steak. All of this can be enjoyed alongside bottomless prosecco or champagne, with a selection of tasty desserts on offer too such as treacle tart, panna cotta, and homemade ice cream. Dress to impress! £40 for two courses, an extra £27 for free-flowing prosecco or £60 for champagne.
Kaia at The Ned
For those looking to move away from the traditional avo-on-toast, Kaia at The Ned recently launched an Asian-Pacific inspired bottomless brunch. Yes, that’s right: sushi for breakfast. Taking place every Sunday, this one’s bottomless in a different way: it’s all you can eat, rather than all you can drink. You have two hours to pile your plate with all the sashimi, teriyaki salmon, Japanese fried chicken and bao buns you can manage. Don’t go too overboard with the savoury as you’ll want some space for the puddings, particularly the melt-in-the-mouth matcha cheesecake. £45 for all you can eat for a two-hour period.
The Piano Works
For the ultimate party brunch, head to Piano Works, which has two venues across London – one in the West End, the other in Farringdon. The main selling point here is the live band, who play songs requested by brunchers. For £50pp you can enjoy free-flowing prosecco or Bloody Mary’s alongside a two-course brunch, and unlike many bottomless brunches, bottles of bubbly are left on the table, allowing you to top up yourselves so you can really make the most of the time slot! Main dishes range from the classic – avo-on toast, smoked salmon and eggs on sourdough – to the more creative, like vegan fried chicken on pancakes. Follow with waffles, fruit salad or sorbet. The dimly lit surroundings, basement-style settings and party atmosphere make it feel more like 11pm than 11am, so we can guarantee you won’t be holding back on the bubbles…£50pp for unlimited drinks and two courses.
aqua nueva
Enjoy a Mediterranean-style feast on the roof terrace of Spanish restaurant aqua nueva. Indulge on tapas-style savoury dishes including an avocado, toasted corn and bitter leaf salad, marinated beef, and pistachio churros with a mango and passionfruit sauce, washed down with free-flowing Mojitos, Daquris, Cava and sangria. Saturdays from 12-4pm. £60pp.
COYA
The bottomless brunch at COYA Angel Court is a very lavish affair, offering diners three hours of bottomless drinks alongside vibrant Peruvian cuisine and DJs. Kick things off with cocktails and starters (which include bao buns, ceviches and tacos) in the Pisco Bar & Lounge before sitting down for your main course, with options like corn fed baby chicken with aji panca, and Chilean sea bass with rice and lime. Music builds up throughout the afternoon, culminating in special performances which inevitably turn the room into a dance floor. £65pp for the Spirit package or £75pp for the Champagne package, including food.
Sea Containers
The brunch menu at Sea Containers (formerly Mondrian London) is definitely more of a lunch vibe – on the menu you’ll find things like a chicken and mushroom hot pot, steak and eggs, and a fish pie. On the drinks front, choose between prosecco, mimosas, Bloody Mary’s (all £18), or Champagne, which is a pricier option (£59). From its prime location on the Southbank waterfront, Sea Containers is ideal for those who enjoy a good view with their meal. Available Saturdays and Sundays, £18 for bottomless prosecco, Bloody Mary’s or mimosas, or £59 for bottomless Champagne, both for a 90-minute period.
Big Chill Kings Cross
Rooftop, brunch, bottomless booze, pink walls, floral decor…the Rose-Tinted Rooftop at Big Chill Kings Cross is millennial heaven. Their free-flowing brunch runs every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, offering a choice of unlimited gin or vodka-based cocktails or good old prosecco in its classic form. Brunch dishes are wonderfully indulgent: waffle chicken with buttermilk fried chicken strips, streaky bacon and maple syrup; french toast with peanut butter ice cream; and a vegan patty with fried onion, roti, pickles and vegan cheese are all on the menu. All this can be enjoyed to the soundtrack of DJs paying disco, house and party classics for the ultimate Sunday Funday. £25 for two hours of bottomless drinks.
Ella Canta
White sand beaches, hot yoga and parties in jungle-shrouded restaurants that go on to the early hours: that’s what we imagine when we think of Tulum in Mexico, and what Ella Canta channels in its new bottomless brunch series. With live Latin beats and dancing, colour-popping decor and bottomless margaritas, you’re invited to bare your hairband of flowers – courtesy of the restaurant and their delightful staff – and ascend into Ella Canta’s utopian vision of Tulum. Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula’s hottest spot is beginning to rival Cancún when it comes to raking in the tourists. The food has a lot to do with it and that’s where Ella Canta really comes into its own. Inspired by Mexico’s natural bounty, Chef Martha Ortiz has another restaurant in Mexico City – so this is the real deal. Start with the seabass, pineapple and basil ceviche. Mexican food is well known for its bold flavours, but they don’t come sweeter or tangier than this deceivingly simple dish. The tacos are a must-try for the main act, with an impressive line-up of sauces to elevate that crispy pork to lip-smacking proportions. And don’t turn your nose up at the churros. British fairground fakes have nothing on this authentic caramel-dipped wonder of the world. Regular Mexican weekend brunch: £45 per person for 90 minutes unlimited margaritas.
Tapas Brindisa
Say hola to free-flowing sangria at Shoreditch restaurant Tapas Brindisa, who are now offering a Spanish take on bottomless brunch, with a feasting menu of tapas and paella. Tuck into homemade croquetas and salty padron peppers, followed by a choice of seafood and vegetarian paella, washed down with unlimited Sangria or Cava. £35 for two course with sangria or cava.
ZELA
‘Don’t let Monday ruin your Sunday’ is the mantra for the new bottomless brunch at Ibiza import ZELA, the plush Japanese restaurant within ME London Hotel. Sunday blues will be a distant memory as you get lost in the Balearic beats, free-flowing Bellini’s and Bloody Mary bar. Food-wise, you’ll begin with an array of family-style sharing starters, such as stone bass ceviche, salty edamame with Spanish salmorejo, sweet miso aubergine and a selection of sushi Omakase. For mains, choose between dishes like charcoaled salmon, tender Wagyu beef teriyaki, chicken stay skewers and Thai papaya salad before rounding things off on a sweet note with Dulce de leche ice cream and mousse. £59pp for three courses and bottomless drinks for two hours.
Temper
The sizzling brunch feast at buzzy barbecue restaurant Covent Garden’s Temper is a true bargain. For just £35, diners can tuck into sharing platters of succulent meats including beef burgers, Cumberland sausages and free-range chicken alongside burnt corn and fries. Not only this, but you’re entitled to 90 minutes of unlimited summer cocktails from Mojitos to Cosmopolitans, as well as wine and beer. After proving successful at their Covent Garden branch, they’ll be extending the offer to Temper City from September. £35pp. Available Saturdays.
