Where better to indulge in an evening of classic Christmas carolling than at the spectacular Old Royal Naval College? The 500-year old UNESCO World Heritage Site will be hosting an array of carol concerts this year, from a charity performance in aid of Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice – with mince pies and seasonal drinks! – to the Chapel Choir Christmas Concert, conducted by British conductor Ralph Allwood MBE. The Piece Hall
Located within the heart of West Yorkshire town Halifax, The Piece Hall is a wonderful place to indulge in festive merriment. The Grade I listed venue, which magically lights up at Christmas featuring a festive fair, Victorian carousel and a wintry Deluxe Bar in the courtyard, is hosting a series of festive-themed performances and events. If you’re looking for a reason to get up and sing this Christmas, look no further than the pups at Dogs Trust. Their concert this year – which will raise funds to support the Hope Project, a special campaign aiding the cost of veterinary treatment for dogs with homeless owners – features a carol performance from the Chelsea Old Church Choir, readings from the likes of actor Nicholas Parsons, as well as seasonal drinks and canapés.
