Nathan Outlaw’s Cookbook Dinner Series at Siren at The Goring

The upcoming supper club series at The Goring’s new restaurant, Siren, will showcase recipes from the cookbooks of head chef Nathan Outlaw. Each night will involve a five-course seafood feast, the first taking place on 25 February with a menu from Nathan’s first book, Nathan Outlaw’s British Seafood. A fish-lover’s dream, dishes include lobster risotto, scallop tartare and pickled herrings, followed by steamed treacle and lemon sponge for dessert. Every guest will also receive a signed copy of the cookbook, so you can give the recipes a go yourself. £110pp. 25 February. Further dinners take place on 31 March and 28 April. Fallow x Adam Handling Residency

Sustainability is at the heart of Fallow, a new restaurant from Dinner by Heston protégés Jack Croft and Will Murray – so it makes sense to team up with zero-waste chef Adam Handling. On 28 February they’re teaming up to create a ten-course collaboration dinner at Adam Handling Chelsea in Belmond Cadogan Hotel: the first pop-up Adam has had on the site. £65pp. 28 January. Pie Room Guest Series

This February master of pies Calum Franklin launches his new guest chef series, which will see some of the biggest names in the food industry joining him at Holborn Dining Room to create signature pies. Kicking things off on 1 February is Tom Kerridge, who has stepped up to the task with a hearty steak and blue cheese pie, available for visitors to the restaurant’s Pie Room for one month only. On 12 February, the two chefs will work together on a special collaboration dinner – but with only 10 seats available, you’ll have to act fast if you want to be there. All proceeds go towards Hospitality Action. Calum and Tom’s pie will be available from The Pie Room from 1-29 February and retails for £8. Price for dinner event on 12th February: £250. Roganic: The Scandinavian Series

This January Simon Rogan’s Michelin-starred restaurant Roganic introduces its new guest chef series. Running throughout the first half of the year, the series will see Simon and his team welcoming a line-up of top chefs from Europe’s culinary mecca of Scandinavia to his Marylebone restaurant. Each will cook up a unique eight-course feast alongside the Roganic team, available at the restaurant for one day only. Kicking off the series is Christian F. Puglisi on 18 January, who opened Michelin-starred Relæ in Copenhagen in 2010, before launching the smaller and much-loved eatery across the street, Manfreds. Next up on 21 March is Magnus Ek, chef owner of Stockholm’s two Michelin-starred Oaxen Krog, as well as more informal concept Oaxen Slip. Tickets are prices at £135pp (excluding discretionary service charge), include an arrival drink, snacks and eight-course dinner. Chef’s Table Series at Zima Russian Restaurant

Celebrated chef Alexei Zimin aims to showcase the best of Russian cuisine – which is still somewhat underrepresented in London – in his new Chef’s Table series, taking place at his Frith Street restaurant Zima Russian Restaurant. Proceedings will kick off on 22 January with a menu dedicated to one of Russia’s most celebrated ingredients: caviar. Guests will be treated to an eight-course tasting menu featuring specially sourced caviar, with dishes including venison tartare with pike perch caviar, caviar donut with whipped butter and egg yolk, and crab with mashed apples, wasabi and halibut caviar. This will be followed by a kitchen takeover from Evgeny Vikentev of Hamlet & Jacks in St. Petersburg, who will be cooking up an impressive Russian feast: think herring with hazelnut, cabbage and beetroot; and beef with honey, sorrel and salmon. The first event takes place on 22-24 January, followed by Evgeny Vikentev’s takeover from 11-16 February. Tickets from £40pp. Book at zima.restaurant

Cirque du Soleil Cocktails at The Ivy Kensington Brasserie

Embark on a journey through reimagined Mexico at The Ivy Kensington Brasserie, which has just launched a limited edition cocktail menu to tie in with Cirque du Soleil’s new performance of LUZIA. The highly anticipated show debuts this spring at the Royal Albert Hall, with a surrealistic series of acrobatic performances and dazzling visual surprises. In homage to LUZIA, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie’s bar team have created three concoctions for guests, including the Pabolero, featuring Altos Reposado Tequila, Limoncello, honey, lemon juice and ginger juice. Available until 1 March.

Australia Day Brunch at Pacific

This Australia Day, Mayfair restaurant Pacific will host a barbecue-style brunch to raise funds for the NSW Rural Fire Services, who are working tirelessly to provide aid for the devastating bushfires. Pacific’s Executive Chef Shaun Presland is from one of the affected areas in Australia, and will be cooking up a feast inspired by his hometown. Beef steaks, prawns and chicken wings will be cooked up on the outdoor barbecue, alongside a selection of Aussie desserts including Deconstructed Golden Gaytime, a popular Australian ice cream. Live music will run throughout the day, and there will be an auction offering prizes including a Sydney beach house stay and a sushi masterclass with Shaun. £50pp for unlimited food (drinks will be charged at normal prices). Ginuary at Obilx at The Shard

Swerving Dry January this year? Head to Oblix at The Shard, which kicks of the new decade with Ginuary: four weeks of gin cocktail collaborations paired with dishes designed by head chef Marcus Eaves. Each week of January will see a residency from a different gin brand – this week it’s newly launched Italian brand Villa Ascenti, followed by Sipsmith Gin and Hendrick’s. Until the end of January.

Experience an authentic Swiss supper club in one of London’s prettiest alpine-inspired spots, Dalloway Terrace. On 23 January Gstaad Chef Marcel Reist, from the critically acclaimed Hotel Bernerhof, will be taking over the kitchen, cooking up a five-course feast to fully immerse guests in the Gstaad way of life. Relief Dinner for Australia Day at Timmy Green

In light of the devastating bushfire crisis in Australia, Timmy Green – part of the ever-expanding Daisy Green Collection – is hosting a special relief dinner to raise money for the much-needed aid efforts in its homeland. Taking place on Australia Day (25 January), the event will involve an eight-course Australian tasting menu paired with some of the country’s finest wines. Romy Gill’s Vegan Supper Club at Ooty

This January, celebrated chef Romy Gill will be cooking up a vegan storm at Indian restaurant Ooty, which opened last year in Marylebone. The six-course menu will showcase some of Romy’s signature vegan recipes, including samosas chaat with sweet chutney and coconut yoghurt – which features in her debut cookbook ZAIKA. These will sit alongside vegan takes on Ooty’s south Indian-inspired dishes, developed by executive chef Manmeet Singh Bali. Four Hands Dinner at Bōkan 37

Award-winning chef Grégoire Berger brings his avant-garde creations from underwater restaurant Ossiano at the Atlantis The Palm, Dubai to London for Bōkan 37’s Four Hands dinner. For two nights, he’ll be joining Executive Chef Guillaume Gillan in the kitchen to cook up an exceptional 10-course tasting menu with paired drinks.
