Thankfully, the 2020 style guide has been announced to steer us in the right direction. Keeping with tradition – the prestigious racing event has been running since 1711, after all – there are still some key guidelines to follow. For example: ladies, it’s important that your dresses and skirts are of modest length in the Royal Enclosure, whilst a hat is a must. Gentlemen must be suited and booted in full morning dress, waistcoat, top hat, tie and all. View the full list of rules and guidelines here.

But as with every year, fashion evolves and so too does the Ascot style guide,  in partnership with luxury cruise brand Cunard, which this year comprises an abundance of British and sustainable brands, along with pretty pastels, playful ties, sequins, feathers and more.

Ascot, The Times Magazine and Times LUXX style director, Prue White, have curated a spectacular style guide suited to every enclosure, including an eclectic range of brands, from Philip Treacy and Lock & Co to Reiss and River Island.
