It’s official: from the 4 July 2020 you’ll be allowed to go on holiday in England. But which hotels will be open? As hotels get to grips with new social distancing rules and make plans to keep guests and staff safe, we’re making it easier for you to scope out your next staycation with a roundup of some of the hottest hotels in the country’s reopening plans.     Heckfield Place will be capping occupancy levels and keeping a two night gap between departing guests and new room arrivals to allow a deep clean of rooms between guests. Culinary Director Skye Gyngell has designed a weekly house-party-style programme of moving dining locations making the most of the Sun House and the beautiful grounds. Masks & hand sanitiser will be placed throughout the home and worn by staff and guests with a one way system to ensure plenty of space. Temperature checks will also be issued on arrival.

At St Mawes Hotel, guests will be offered bed and breakfast accommodation in one of the seven bedrooms (traditional Cornish breakfast will be served in the bedroom) or those wishing to get out and explore can opt for a picnic breakfast.
