Love picnics, but no time for the prep? Corrigan’s Head Chef Aidan McGee is here to help. His cherry-picked hamper features seven seasonal dishes such as smoked salmon, seasonal salads, a pork and stilton pie and and half a bottle of Champagne. Dishes can be tailored to your group, and the offering includes disposable glassware, cutlery, crockery and a picnic rug. Collect your hamper from Corrigan’s Mayfair and stroll down to Hyde Park for an idyllic al fresco dining experience, or push the boat out with their ultra-luxe service delivered in a private outdoor dining room, complete with a private butler, champagne and matched wines. £115 for two people, private butler service from £1000.
The Arch London
Impress the gang with a serious spread courtesy of The Arch London. Their picnic hampers include a selection of sandwiches like English cheddar with apple and raisin chutney, coronation chicken, and smoked salmon with lemon butter and cracked black pepper. Enjoy alongside Jersey royal potato salad and homemade chips, followed by raspberry and pistachio trifle, battenburgh and homemade muffins. From the hotel’s Marylebone location, Hyde Park is your closest bet for a venue. £100 for two people, available until 9 September.
DUKES LONDON
Buy a picnic hamper from DUKES LONDON and the team will do all the hard work for you, creating a cosy set-up in either Green Park or St James’ Park complete with cushions, blankets, cutlery, glasses – and most importantly, delicious food. On the menu you’ll find chorizo and goats cheese scotch eggs, courgette and goats cheese brochettes, and pomegranate and paprika scones with homemade hummus, followed by vegan brownies. Little ones, meanwhile, can enjoy pigs in blankets and homemade crisps, and if you fancy bringing your pup along they’ll be well catered for with dog food, dog bowls and toys. Conrad London St. James
The picnic feast offered at Conrad St. James is a real bargain. For just £26pp you’ll be treated to a selection of finger sandwiches, Scotch eggs with pork sausage, onion and caramelised apple, ham hock terrine with beetroot piccalilli, and peach and rosemary tartlets. Pair with a glass or two of white, rose or red wine for the perfect British feast. From £26pp for a minimum of two guests, £50 deposit per hamper. Book in advance.
Roux at Parliament Square
At Michel Roux Jr.’s eponymous restaurant, Roux at Parliament Square, you can pick up a hampers filled with quintessentially British picnic dishes, from harissa-spiced sausage rolls to cucumber and cream cheese finger sandwiches. Dessert offerings include lemon posset with elderflower jelly, white chocolate, strawberry and pistachio delice, and scones with Cornish clotted cream and jam. £55 for two to share, £95 with a bottle of Champagne. Theo Randall at the InterContinental
Have a taste of La Dolce Vita with Theo Randall’s new Prosecco Picnic hamper, curated at his fine dining Italian restaurant on Park Lane. Dishes include prosciutto di Parma with melon, grilled and marinated aubergines, thinly sliced Aberdeen Angus beef fillet, and Theo’s infamous Amalfi lemon tart. Each hamper will be accompanied with a bottle of Villa Sandi Prosecco or Sparkling Rosé, and little ones can enjoy dishes from the Piccolo Picnics menu. £49pp. Available until 30 September.

Celebrate the last of the summer sun in Rosewood London’s wisteria-filled secret garden, where they’ll be screening the BBC Proms in the Park on 14 September. Holborn Dining Room head chef Calum Franklin has put together a picnic feast for the occasion, featuring their award-winning Monkshill Farm Scotch egg, Cornish lobster rolls and Cumberland sausage rolls alongside a bottle of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee. £75pp. 14 September.
