This December, Holborn’s Bloomsbury House will be transformed into the Tanqueray Townhouse: a ten-day residency filled with immersive experiences and plenty of gin cocktails. Artists will travel around the Townhouse each evening performing illusions – think playing cards magically appearing in gin bottles and cocktail shakers disappearing before your eyes. A selection of lucky guests will be invited by a ringing telephone to take part in a special event in the venue’s hidden bar, which involves using brainwave technology to eat personalised drinks. Martha Ortiz’ ‘Into the Gold’ Menu at Ella Canta
Mexico is one of the world’s largest producers of gold, and the precious metal is woven into the country’s rich history. Chef Martha Ortiz celebrates this in her new six-course menu, Into the Gold, launching at Ella Canta this December. The selection of artfully presented dishes includes a sea bass ceviche with kumquat, guinea fowl with white mole, and a pineapple and mango sorbet laced with gold. Winter London Craft Beer Festival x Canopy Market
Get merry at Canopy Market this December, where a three-day craft beer festival is taking place. Sexy Fish’s 4th Birthday
Lavish Mayfair restaurant Sexy Fish is celebrating its 4th birthday with a series of wild and wonderful events, running in partnership with The House of Suntory. Following its reopening earlier this year, Fitzrovia bar bubbledogs is launching a new series in which a programme of guest sommeliers put their stamp on bubbledogs’ celebrated Champagne list.
