What I wouldn’t give to live in an apartment like this with such beautiful historic details. These turn of the century touches look really pretty, but you also have to find a way to make them shine. The Lead glass window in the living room for example, wouldn’t work with just any furniture or accessories but the owners of this home managed to let those elements shine and to carefully pick furniture and minimal accessories to not overcrowd this beautiful space.
I love that even though all rooms are separated by doors, you can still see a peek of the other room from wherever you stand. The dining room looks very majestic in front of these two curved windows, but I’m especially in love with the bedroom, which has been decorated in a modest beige palette to make the moulding on the doors and windows shine. The beige also combines very nicely with the dark hardwood flooring for a warm look.
