The messiest bedroom in Britain revealed

If you thought your bedroom was messy, we have some images that are going to put your mess into perspective. Bed SOS launched a competition to find Britain’s messiest bedroom, and we have a winner.

Sara from County Down, Northern Ireland, won the honour of her room being crowned ‘Britain’s Messiest Bedroom.’ The mucky pup has also won a brand new bed worth up to £400. Heres hoping it might inspire her to get her bedroom in order.

Instead of houseplants and scatter cushions. Sara’s room was decorated with  fast food containers, biscuit wrappers and even a dead plant. We can only imagine Kim and Agy’s reaction, let alone Netflix’s The Home Edit duo, if they ever came across this bedroom.

However, Sara had some tough competition. See below a few of the messiest bedroom entries. They’ll have you running for the = section of IKEA.

Every girl knows the plight of not having a big enough wardrobe, but none more than this little girl. Just the sight of three fully packed storage bins is giving us chills.

Even if your bedroom is one of the biggest rooms in the house, you shouldn’t include everything in it. An armchair, ironing board and step ladder feel a little like overkill to us.

‘We’ve seen a lot in our time, but even we were shocked by the state of some of the bedrooms in the entries so far,’ says Danny Richmond, Managing Director of Bed SOS.

‘With all the extra time people have been spending at home recently, it does make sense that things will be a little more cluttered than usual, but some of these take the cake!’

‘On the plus side, with the sheer number of entries we’ve received, if you’re a bit messy yourself, at least you know you’re in good company.’
