Grey, beige and natural textures make for a really light yet contrasting base palette in this light flooded Swedish home. The living room has been painted in a very light grey, which goes nicely with the light wood of the floor and the beige art pieces on the wall.
The grey velvet sofa looks very cozy with the combination of beige linen pillows* and an amber waffle throw* and the black leather and wood of the vintage armchairs stand out so nicely against the lighter palette of this room. A dark grey linen* was chosen for the fabric of the curtains, which matches the color of the sofa and adds depth to this room.
The kitchen is very simple, yet I think the round dining table with the bentwood Thonet chairs in black* really stands out here. A natural beige jute carpet* adds texture to the room and makes the dining area less afloat.
The bedroom, in contrast to the rest of the apartment, has been painted in a pale dark blue, which makes items like the beige duvet*, the brass wall lamps and the art prints stand out so nicely.
The odd niche next to the window has been transformed into a small workspace, with a custom cut worktop that fits the niche exactly. On the wall you can see the Ikea picture rails, painted in the same color as the wall. I love this creative and custom tone-on-tone solution.
